Building Resilience and Competitiveness with Data Quality and GDPR Adherence
Abstract
This article examines the connection between data quality and adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), emphasizing its critical role in the digital era and complex regulatory landscape. It discusses the challenge of managing accurate and secure data amidst the growing volume of information, evaluating how robust data quality practices can enhance both GDPR compliance and operational performance. By adopting the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) as a methodological framework, the study offers a structured approach to optimizing data management, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and security. The findings underscore that implementing the PDCA cycle not only supports GDPR compliance but also fosters a culture of data excellence, strengthening organizational resilience and competitive edge.
